Huckabee and Carter are both populists and neither fit well into their respective party ideology. I do not trust Huckabee and believe him lacking in pertinent experience and leadership. I also have problems with a candidate who wears his religion on his sleeve.

I wanted to believe in Huckabee since I was hoping that we might have a strong ally against the secularists and atheists who want to silence we Christians. I don’t think he is the man for the job. My guess is that even Rudy would be a stronger advocate for freedom of religion then the Huckster.
