That has to be the most ridiculous post I have ever read on FR...congratulations.

Huckabee and Carter are both populists and neither fit well into their respective party ideology. I do not trust Huckabee and believe him lacking in pertinent experience and leadership. I also have problems with a candidate who wears his religion on his sleeve.
Hatred? never would I characterize my views on the Huckster as hatred, he is a pathetic excuse as a candidate as President.
Listening to him today cements my views he has no clue about foreign policy and to brig up how our funds are being used are totally inappropriate at this time.
Only an idiot would bring this up at this time.
McInsanse has made the same comment as we speak.
I don't see lots of "Hatred" for Huckabee...just lots of FReepers who are not blinded enough to be snowed by him. Thankfully so...at least many freepers seem to aware enough to spot a phony :)
Disclaimer: I am not a Huckabee supporter.
Vilify Huckabee for his political beliefs, not his religion, name, the town that he was born in, the way his family looks.
All the rest is just plain mean or silly.
Maybe they were hoping it was true. ;-D
Hmm..okay. Bush gave us the NCLB, increased the medicare retirement plan, proposed that faith-based initiative plan, spent gobs on AIDS and wants to spend even more, vetoed practically nothing...on and on. Oh, and Bush is exactly where Huckabee is on the immigration issue. Bush has led many other Republicans astray with his compassionate conservative nonsense. They can be swayed back.
I don’t give a rat’s rear what you think, now or ever!
During the Kosovo war, I had posters calling me a baby-killer because I’m in the USAF.
It only takes a handful of jerks to make it look like Freepers are rotten. There are atheist Freepers, of course, but very few are anti-Christian.
I may have told you this before, but here it is again. We are a military family, I thank you for your service and sacrifice.
Yeah he might be like GWB, that is what we are so afraid of.
Lemmings don't require intelligence.
I stopped reading after the first paragraph. Sodomy laws are number 1001 on my list of 1000 things I want from a president.

I am not afraid of Huckabee’s Christianity because I too am a social conservative but please hold back for a while in your devotion to Huckabee. Test him out and don’t accept him at face value. I have learned the hard way that many people in politics are not what they seem. So please don’t “marry in haste and repent at leisure.” Don’t forget that Duncan Hunter is also a social conservative and has been for a long time.
I don’t think that just because Huckabee went to seminary and preached for a while that it should make him above questioning.
For the first time since I have old enough to vote, there is no one that I can support in the primaries. I will have to see about the general.
I’m not. End of conversation.
Okay. At least that's an honest argument.
Didn't the Algore go to seminary too? ;)
Mike Huckabee - a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Clinton Machine.
Huckabee has surged because he won a couple of debates and hes got evangelical support. If a quick rise can happen to the liberal pro-life evangelical Huckster, it can happen to the conservative pro-life evangelical Hunter.

According to Intrade, the winner of the December 12th GOP debate was... Duncan Hunter.

In this poll Hunter is up 3% and even with Paul and Thompson.
