Pfft, we played netball with the girls when I was at school 20 years ago. And girls could play football if they wanted. Actually there was a girl who played on our Cub Scout team for a bit (makes a lot less difference at that age). We also played hockey in mixed sex classes at school as I recall.
Complete waste of time for someone to have to produce policy papers, and no doubt focus groups and some brand new buzz words to boot. On the plus side, if our stupid nanny state government is busying itself with stuff like this, it lessens the possibility of doing any damage meddling with anything important....
What they need is gender equality in the committees and commissions that make up these policies—too many wimmin running the show, if you ask me. These are girly type policies—now, little boys, play nicely and share your toys.
Fire half the women on these committees and fill the water fountains with testosterone and then we’ll have gender equality.
That's how they justify their employment. Next year they'll find even more inequity.
