I was watching a BBC show this year called Torchwood and the entire series displayed this fixation with homosexuality. This series had been highly recommended to me by another FReeper and so I had been waiting for it to be released on DVD, as I don't get cable at the stoat cave. I sincerely appreciate your pointing this out so that I will no longer need to waste my time looking for it at my neighborhood rental store.
The quiet acceptance of this sort of garbage by the normal, healthy majority is infuriating and terribly saddening.
Torchwood IS an adult BBC spin off of Doctor Who and goes out at 10-10.30 pm here.
The writer IS gay, one Russell T Davies, and despite his gay hobbyhorse, I like him as one of the best screenwriters in Britain, as he has done a great job of updating and popularising the new Doctor Who.And he is 6’6 and big, so I wont argue with him....lol
Despite the unnecessary gay subtexts, I like Torchwood and think it is a good sci-fi show.

I dont think we are any better or worse than each other morally.Be it sexuality,violence and the other areas of moral life.
The vast majority of British people are still good decent heterosexual family people who dont really care that much if someone is gay or lesbian as long as they arent militant about it and make it an issue ie as long as they keep it private.
