This series had been highly recommended to me by another FReeper and so I had been waiting for it to be released on DVD, as I don't get cable at the stoat cave. I sincerely appreciate your pointing this out so that I will no longer need to waste my time looking for it at my neighborhood rental store.
The quiet acceptance of this sort of garbage by the normal, healthy majority is infuriating and terribly saddening.
Britain has taken PC so far they’ve become a joke. They don’t seem to mind it, though.
Can’t they just cut off their penises?
“Its very sad, but lets face it, Great Britain is done for. The US must fight this evil alone.”
It’s funny to see statements like this posted so often. Whereas, in the UK, the opinion is usually that PC was invented in America and now we’re getting it over here, but we hope that we won’t succumb as you have.
I wonder which is right?
I have no doubt that they would if they could. In the meantime, they will busy themselves with destroying, indoctrinating and reshaping the minds of young boys....their bodies will be on the agenda in time, I'm sure.
Just wait until you have a couple Indian boys against a couple girls in badminton. The top serve speed is over 180 mph. I never saw that in badminton gaves at family picnics.
A Eunuchracy, more like.
Torchwood IS an adult sci-fi series and has sexual scenes not suitable for children.
Gay kisses aside,I enjoyed, even as a Conservative non sci-fi fan, and I would recommend it,either on DVD or on BBC America.
Why is it always the boys who have to adapt? Make the girls play rugby or something if they want “gender equity”.
As UKTory said, this nonsense actually started years ago when I was at school, and to be honest I cannot think that such reports then or since have made any difference.
I cant think that my young cousins, nephews and nieces have been playing ‘other gender’ sports in either Scotland,NI or England. I know of no girl that ‘had’ to play rugby and no boy that ‘had’ to play netball etc.
Slow news day more than anything else...
Torchwood IS an adult BBC spin off of Doctor Who and goes out at 10-10.30 pm here.
The writer IS gay, one Russell T Davies, and despite his gay hobbyhorse, I like him as one of the best screenwriters in Britain, as he has done a great job of updating and popularising the new Doctor Who.And he is 6’6 and big, so I wont argue with him....lol
Despite the unnecessary gay subtexts, I like Torchwood and think it is a good sci-fi show.
Apparently the pair they want them to grow is on their chest!
We're constantly being reminded that we're redundant, what with the 'mainstreaming' of homosexuality and the popularity of 'turkey-baster babies.
Their parents are also being encourage to have one of their testicles removed. Both testicles if the lad is particularly boyish.
Netball is a non-contact sport similar to, and derived from, basketball. It is usually known as a women’s sport.[citation needed] It was originally known in its country of origin, the United States, as “women’s basketball”. Invented in 1895 by Clara Gregory Baer,[1], a pioneer in women’s sport, it is now the pre-eminent women’s team sport (both as a spectator and participant sport) in Australia and New Zealand and is popular in the West Indies, Sri Lanka, and the United Kingdom.
Sorry, mate.
I dont think we are any better or worse than each other morally.Be it sexuality, violence and the other areas of moral life.
The vast majority of British people are still good decent heterosexual family people who dont really care that much if someone is gay or lesbian as long as they arent militant about it and make it an issue ie as long as they keep it private.
Yep.
Mind you,Bonaparte, Hitler, Stalin, the Kaiser, the Argentine Junta and Commmunists all have said the same for nearly 200 years...
