That's part of the problem. Fred it absolutely right but Fred tends to be slow to "observe the obvious". Most of us, if we'd given any thought to Bhutto's return to Pakistan would have admitted that a secular woman as Prime Minister of a Muslim Nation would drive the radicals insane with jealousy and indignation. Unfortunately, it is also one of the benefits of 20/20 hindsight.

The biggest attraction that Fred has is that he's one of the few candidates for national office that can see that we're in a global clash of cultures. Several of the Republican candidates and ALL of the Democrat candidates still can't see where they were wrong on the issue of Open Borders and Amnesty for Illegal Aliens.

I'm afraid it will take another event like 911 but "squared" to get and hold the attention of our nation. Somewhere around half of this country now thinks the Global War on Terrorism was contrived by GWB. Such stupidity is truly frightening.

“There’s no question that the violence that we see throughout the world is violence that is not limited to … Iraq and Afghanistan, but is more global in nature.” --Slick Willard

So, violence throughout the world is global?

Wow.

That's deep.

Yeah, and you can't get anbody BUT Fred to state the obvious. That's something that seems to get past Fred detractors.

Fred’s cool, and hopefully he’s wrong. if Fred is right that means Mussharaf has lost control, and the Jihadists have essentially taken over Pakistan. If thats true then we have to go in now and secure those nukes before some city with millions gets blown up.
