More left-wing idiocy about "man made global warming", written by a "journalist" with no scientific background whatsoever. Lindorff theorizes that "man made global warming" will wipe out conservatives and actually appears pleased by that prospect. This oxygen waster is a total fool.

What an idiot. The important thing is that we, on the higher ground both actually and figuratively, need to remember that, when they begin their historic migration from their doomed regions, we not give them the keys to the city. They certainly should be offered assistance in their time of need, but we need to keep a firm grip on our political systems, making sure that these guilty throngs who allowed the world to go to hell are gerrymandered into political impotence in their new homes.

Actually in a natural disaster the conservatives survive by taking action and the lefties perish waiting for FEMA to save them.

So the future political map of America is likely to look as different as the much shrunken geographical map, with much of the so-called “red” state region either gone or depopulated.

I don't see any science degrees. What makes this loon any kind of expert on climatology?

The goal has always been to decrease the consumption and standard of living of the industrialized West and the US in particular. The “scientific basis” may have changed, but the goal remains the same.

This is what passes for “journalism” these days? Looks like all the smart columnists have made their escape from the dying newspapers, which have resorted to scraping the bottom for content. What a sad note to end on for a once revered industry.

He’d never be around to see it. His dying breed will have euthanized themselves long beforehand with all their self genociding death cult “lifestyle” & “choice” practices.

What a moron! Does this idiot think we’re just gonna stand our ground and drown. This assumes that there is such a thing in the making. The arrogance and stupidity of these people is never ending.

I see ... so the American southeast, Texas, almost all of Florida, most of Louisiana, and half of Alabama and Mississippi, as well as goodly portions of eastern Georgia, South Carolina and North Carolina “will by completely inundated by the rising ocean”, but so-called “climate experts” say the midwest “is likely to face a permanent condition of unprecedented drought, making the place largely unlivable, and certainly unfarmable.”

Looks like the DUmmies will be transporting water from the flood areas to the drought areas in their Priuses.

Will anyone vouch for the accuracy of the underlying premise that it’s the areas that conservatives live that will be underwater if the oceans rise?

My gut tells me that since most of the population lives near the oceans, and in cities near the oceans, that it is the cities and their BLUE residents who will be underwater.

New York and San Francisco come to mind immediately

What do you call a homosexual up to his neck in water anyway?

Is it a coincidence that the climate change nuts think all of the Conservative areas will be completely ruined, but the liberal areas will survive?

After all the useless laws, taxes, ideas, speeches, TV shows, movies, carbon credits, treaties, Pacific Island meetings, polar bear pictures, crying, lies, and books, the left will be still blaming the right for every thing.

About the author: Philadelphia journalist Dave Lindorff is a 34-year veteran, an award-winning journalist, a former New York Times contributor, a graduate of the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism, a two-time Journalism Fulbright Scholar, and the co-author, with Barbara Olshansky, of a well-regarded book on impeachment, The Case for Impeachment. His work is available at www.thiscantbehappening.net.

Thirty four years down the tubes. It sure didn’t happen over night. Dave must have been fooling himself all those years earning awards. Journalism school leads some over the precipice. This doesn’t even begin to address the web site and impeachment issues. This boy is infected and isn’t ever going to recover even when the doom and gloom doesn’t happen.

Mr. Lindoof (sp intentional) proves himself to be just another typical delusional (and dreaming) leftist loon. Nothing new here.

Earth to Lindoof: Dream on!

A future disaster scenario that’s closer to reality is that the north will continue to get colder during the winter while costs for heating fuel continue to rise above affordability, and while northerners (mostly lefties) continue to migrate SOUTH. We’ve already got too damn many lefties down here now! Yech!!!

So, essentially, Mr. Lindoof may be doing us southerner conservatives a favor by spewing his enviro-whacko mythology. Hopefully, most of the lefties will believe it and stay up north. (maybe now I’m dreaming?)
