They really need a none-of-the-above on presidential ballots.

That is already in place; they call it the write-in vote. If no candidate offered is acceptable, write in one who is.

In many states, write-ins are NOT counted unless the candidate is registered as a write-in. If “sore loser” statutes are in force, they probably block the registration of losers like paleoPaulie. Anti-Semites in Illinois could dredge Paul Findlay out of retirement as a stand-in and name electors who can then vote for whom they please. David Duke would probably campaign as a stand-in for the paleosurrenderman’s trasparent substitute.
