It's amazing any thinking conservative or Republican could vote for someone so blatantly dishonest.
Yeah, but remember, Willard isn't just a liar, he's a GOOD liar - he fools a lot of people, even a lot of FReepers, with his position du jour approach to politics.
What a horrendous choice this time around . What a bunch of liars.
You would think Paul Wyrich, James Dobson, and Tom Tancredo would look at his record before endorsing him!
HGDS (Hillary/Giuliani Derangement Syndrome.)
Great news for Mitt Romney. This kind of nonsense is just plain silly.
You would think Paul Wyrich, James Dobson, and Tom Tancredo would look at his record before endorsing him!
Turning the Republican Party into the 3rd Party in Massachusetts with no candidates fielded in many races and didn’t raise money for other candidates is another bad mark on Romney.
When the left starts the demogogary game Mitt will cave worse than Bush and join in.
Romney needs to be defeated .
Cool. An Abortiani supporter bashing Flip Romney. We need a LOT more of this kind of thing. I’m hoping these guys can drag each other down and let a real conservative win the GOP nomination.
Yawn.
Ouch. And yikes.
“It is impossible to determine what Mitt Romney believes.”
This is why when someone starts looking at him as a candidate, they often finish by not only not choosing him, but by being repulsed by him.
Jim Rubens now blogs for The Huffington Post.
His bio on that Web site says:
“Jim Rubens supports Rudy Giuliani for President.”

“Jim Rubens dropped out of Dartmouth College to join a commune and start a recycling center, then dropped back in to grow and sell about 10 businesses. He then got involved in politics, chairing the platform committee for the national Independence Party in 1992 (before being ousted in a Ross Perot organized coup). From 1994-1998, he served as a Republican state senator, ran for New Hampshire governor in 1998, chaired the NH GOP platform committee in 2000, was senior policy advisor and spokesman for former US Senator Gordon Humphrey in his 2002 run for governor.
“Today, Rubens is a member of the Granite State Angels, focusing on New England startups, consults for the Union of Concerned Scientists on clean energy politics, and chairs the Granite State Coalition Against Expanded Gambling. His new book, OverSuccess: Healing the American Obsession, will be published in April, 2008. More on it at www.OverSuccess.com. Jim Rubens supports Rudy Giuliani for President.

It’s up to the voters. I believe Romney will make a great President.
Dobson endorsed Romney?
That was exactly my experience. I liked him, and even talked him up to my parents...but then he claimed to be a "lifelong hunter." After that, I started digging, and the more I found the less I liked him. At this point I can't vote for him, which is a shame.
That's no joke. Mitt used to be my 3rd choice, after FDT and DH. Over the past couple of months, he has gone from 3rd to "hold my nose if he manages to get the nomination" to "I'd rather not vote at all, than vote for him". The man is a snake in the grass, and the GOP (hopefully) can do better.
I'll just take ONE supposed "flip-flop" they mention -- thier contention that his 2002 and 2005 statements on abortion are a flip-flop.
In fact, those twho statements aren't even opposed, much less a change in position. His 2002 statement says that he believes that government should not dictate a woman's choice. In 2005 he says abortion is the wrong choice.
He of course was wrong in 2002 to suggest that a woman should have the right to kill their babies, because babies are human beings that DO deserve government's protection under our right to life. And in fact he has switched positions on this issue, as he now agrees that women should NOT have the choice to kill their children.
But the 2005 statement is not a "flip flop" from the 2002 position.
