Who else is there to vote for? As a conservative Republican I don't have much choice.
Huck is too liberal for me. Mitt is a flip flopper. McCain bends over backwards for the likes of Kennedy. Ron Paul? Forget that.........so I like Fred Thompsom more and more!
I think he can win.
Condi Rice IS !
Hey, Rome wasn’t burned in a day.
He is needing a show in Iowa.
Fred needs to do more than gain a few yards. He needs to put some points on the board!
And Cynthia McKinney.
Meanwhile, we're sitting on the 50 yard line with our beer and nachos.
Agreed, but I would also add (3)Not controlling/cutting government spending.
It is becoming apparent that Fred may be the only Republican candidate that is not afraid of being called a meanie for talking straight on and to the Hildabeast. He doesn’t appear to be intimidated by her boot licking sycophants in the press (and elsewhere).
If she gets the nomination, that sort of backbone is absolutely necessary.
As regards any Republican’s elect-ability in the general election, our man will have to either stand up to the “little woman” card [Hillary], or the race card [Obama]. Because it is 100% guaranteed one of these will be played.
I see that ability as a qualification to be given serious consideration. Ditto for a candidate that does not have it.
No matter how it's spun, it will help Fred. Women hate the Beast, and he's not afraid to allude to that fact. It serves as a reminder that he is the best answer to reconquest by the Clintonoids.
just in case you aren’t already here....
Fred Thompson needs to create some kind of event, or stunt that draws attention to him.
His bigest problem is the mainstream media, as they see he has the potential to not just equal Reagan, but exceed him! :^)
As long as we’ve lost our voices by the end of the game, we’ve done our part.
LOL!That would be as big a disaster as the Hildabeast!
>>FRed would do just fine against Hillary in a series of debates.
2nd that. Hillary does horribly in unscripted situations, and avoids them whenever possible. Fred showed how well he handles them with the “Global Warming” poll in the last debate.
“I don’t do shows of hands.”
It was marvelous.
# 9..........I thought vampires could not be out during daylight hours, hmmmmm........Leni
No matter how it’s spun, it will help Fred.
No. I hate the beast as much as anyone but he comes across as sexist and crude if you add this remark to the “trophy wife” comment he made earlier. I would not vote for him in the primary under any circumstances. If he ends up in the main election I will have to hold my nose and vote for him anyway but I won’t be happy about it.
How do you propose that he put any points on the board prior to 1/3/08?
How about this. Fred shakes hands with John Edwards using a grip so strong that Edwards head explodes. Or he debates Hillary and points out in Fred fashion that she couldn’t even control her own husband. And now she wants to meet with leaders of the axis of evil.
