I would have thought the biggest killers of teens was guns followed by global warming.
Since when is no change a trend?
I’m looking forward until my 13 year old can drive.
He’s a responsible kid, and I’m looking forward to him driving himself to school and other activities. I don’t like being a taxi for my 3 kids.
In Westchester county with driver’s ed, we could drive at night at 17, but it was still 18 to drive into NYC.
Convincing them to wear seat belts would be a big help. More often than not I read about kids being thrown from the car in an accident. That is usually an indication of “no seatbelt.”
Just about every fatality report I read about teens or young adults has them being thrown from the vehicle. Apparently for teens it's uncool to be strapped in. Their motto is "better zapped than strapped" I guess.
