I emailed this to my Danish brother-in-law. I’m interested to read what he says. He’s pretty conservative for a Dane. He votes for the Danish Peoples Party which is the party that has started cracking down on immigration. My sister and him still own a home outside Copenhagen but currently reside in Charleston.

I have plenty of relatives in Denmark. The country is just too small and well established. Few opportunities for entrepreneurs. Civil service, UN and EU employment are big there.

They do celebrate the 4th of July with fireworks.
