Evidence? FloriDUH Don’t Need No Stinkin’ Evidence!

I have just returned from Ft. Drum, Florida, where the attack on the three year old occurred. He was attacked by an animal on December 6, 2007. The little boy was attacked when his mother went inside to use the restroom and asked Antony’s grandfather to go outside and watch the child for a few moments.

This is not the first time a mountain lion has done this. In 2006, a boy was literally taken from his father's hands before the father could realize what was happening and get better hold on the child.

Two weeks after the attack the agencies have been unable to identify the animal that attacked the three year old. The agencies have been able to say that the child was not attacked by their sacred cash cow, the nonexistent Florida Panther.

However, the traumatized child was taken into the custody of the state immediately. Why? There is no answer given so far. What empirical evidence is there? NONE. Only the observations of the people whose paychecks would not exist if the nonexistent Panther were defunded.

Imagine the effect a Panther attack on a child would have on funding when the experts claim the only Panthers exist in the Everglades. Now, the boy's family is suffering not only from nearly loosing a child, but in this emotionally vulnerable state the family must split their time between caring for a critically injured child and defending themselves from a beastly attack by out of control bureaucrats (‘crats).

Little Anthony martin lost two pints of blood (equivalent to 6 to 8 pints in an adult). Only a helicopter medivac flight, superb EMT personnel, and talented physicians kept the boy from bleeding out and dying.

Oh come on, the State knows how to better raise your children than you do. They should be thankful.

Wait until President Hillary gets in there... then you'll really see the State stepping up to the plate.

The Florida Panther might be a legend and a myth, but the Bureau-Cat is very real and vicious.

Bureau-Cats have only one eye and suffer from lack of depth perception. Although they look like people, they often act like robots and love to enact rules that require everyone around them to jump through hoops. Never let a Bureau-Cat into your house and home because once inside, Bureau-Cats tend to make themselves at home, and often will force the owners to live in fear of losing their home at the Bureau-Cats slightest whim.

Bureau-Cats prefer to have their egos stroked, and often travel in packs. While most Bureau-Cats start off as good intentioned, they are hard of hearing and are oblivious of the pain and suffering their good intentioned acts may cause.

Bureau-Cats often multiply exponentially, and as of the time of this writing, there is no known way to limit their growth except to vote for truly fiscally conservative, success businessmen to public office. Unfortunately, fiscally conservative businessmen rarely run for office, and are often targets for predatory Bureau-Cats.

something here is wrong.
Actually many things here are wrong, so I doubt the veracity of the author.

I live in Florida and I can tell you that the “Florida Panther” no matter what you want to call it, is very real and very alive. - and rather small.

“The Florida Panther might be a legend and a myth”

No myth. One was run over and killed 20 miles from me last year. I have no idea what the author of this article’s issue is with them. He sounds nuts.

I don’t know where you are from, but a 150 pound NON-MYTHICAL Florida Panther can rip your @ss a new one!

I’ve personally filmed them for the state of Florida. They are here, just not in their formal numbers.

Looking for some good here. Does this mean that the taxpayers are on the hook for the medical expenses, rather than the family?

Unrelated questions: The excerpt says that the mother asked the grandfather to go outside to watch the child. Did he do so? How long was the child unsupervised when the mother went in to ask the grandfather? Did the attack occur while the grandfather was watching, or not?

The state breeds them and releases them in to the wild. They release 6 of them in north Florida last year.

We used to have a mother and her cubs - kittens? - visit our backyard every year until development crowded into our area .

Let’s try “Drag your @ss 200’ up a hill, then eat it for lunch, face first”. Google up “Scott Lancaster Idaho Springs”. I’ve seen the autopsy photos. Not pretty.

Cat in a formal number...

I can't imagine why the Panthers in Florida refuse to wear their formal numbers. Yah move to the South, and it is like you were raised by wolves...
