In advance infantry training, after Boot Camp, one of the instructors was a corporal named General James.

Corporal General James.....and right before we finished, he got busted to Private General James, USMC.

I ran into a couple before also. I knew a Staff Sergeant Sergeant, Sergeant (E-5) Major, and later another Major Major.
