McCain’s treading water, but he certainly isn’t making up ground. He’s solidly in the second tier at this point, and he’s unlikely to move up. If he’s the nominee, the Republicans would have another ‘Bob Dole’ moment.

He's always had that chance of winning New Hampshire. And it looks like he just might do it.

While I share the common complaints w.r.t. McCain, I believe he kept his campaign alive by staying strong on Iraq when others were waffling or retreating, and he does deserve kudos for that.

I have feared another Bob Dole moment as well.

However, my sister, a self-professed liberal who can’t stand Hillary and has never voted Republican, is leaning towards McCain.

Bob Dole did not have the advantage of running against the most hated candidate ever.

Not if Rush speaks up and backs Thompson.

I do not want 96' all over again. The Blue Hairs gave us Dole, we could have had Forbes.....
