As I’ve seen the Hunter supporters and the Fred supporters do the same thing, I’d say at least 80% of FR can be classified as “disruptors” given that definition.

There is no way that Hunter or Thompson supporter make personal attacks anywhere near the frequency of Romney supporters. I have never posted on a Romney thread that I have not had a personal attack made against me including being called a “Son of Perdition”.

Disruptions can have the effect of neutralizing the status quo. Given the current state of the political machine, we need more disruptions. Currently we have problems getting the leadership’s attention, let alone due consideration for what the people want.
Then again, sometimes the strong carry out their own disruptions to try to intimidate their opposition.
A fight is a fight. Works both ways.
