One does not have to be a Republican to be conservative.
Thats the problem with politics. Either left wing or right wing. No middle of the road.
Political profiling takes one issue voters and places them in the category with multi issue voters. I would like to think I am independent of having to choose a party affiliation. We seem to either vote for Evil, or the Lesser Evil. That is not much of a choice when it comes to the most important job in America.

Let me try this again so maybe it will sink in. I did not say anything about Republicans. I described the Romney folks as 1. not conservatives, 2. confused as to whether they are conservatives or not, 3. they have some other agenda more important than conservatism. The term Free Republican is the same as Freeper...it is someone who belongs to Free Republic not someone registered as a Republican voter. Trying reading the post again so I can move on to other things besides correcting your erroneous interpretation.
