Clinton’s Résumé Factor: Those 8 Years as First Lady
New York Times ^ | December 26, 2007 | Patrick Healy

Posted on 12/26/2007 7:49:30 AM PST by Kaslin

As first lady, Hillary Rodham Clinton jaw-boned the authoritarian president of Uzbekistan to leave his car and shake hands with people. She argued with the Czech prime minister about democracy. She cajoled Roman Catholic and Protestant women to talk to one another in Northern Ireland. She traveled to 79 countries in total, little of it leisure; one meeting with mutilated Rwandan refugees so unsettled her that she threw up afterward.

But during those two terms in the White House, Mrs. Clinton did not hold a security clearance. She did not attend National Security Council meetings. She was not given a copy of the president’s daily intelligence briefing. She did not assert herself on the crises in Somalia, Haiti and Rwanda.

And during one of President Bill Clinton’s major tests on terrorism, whether to bomb Afghanistan and Sudan in 1998, Mrs. Clinton was barely speaking to her husband, let alone advising him, as the Lewinsky scandal sizzled.

Bingo.

She couldn't even handle being photographed with the really sick kids at a hospital photo op.

“Funny how you NEVER hear of her going to a place like Walter Reed now do ya?”

I don’t think her failure to visit the hospitals and bedsides of sick people is due to a weak stomach so much as her complete lack of compassion, which would be obvious to everyone at such visits. I have little doubt she is a sociopath who most certainly doesn’t “feel your pain.”

ROFL!

Remember the trip to Africa, with an entourage of about 1200, including Betty Currie, so she was unabailable to the Lewinsky prosecution to answer questions?

LOL

I have as much "foreign relations" experience as she does, with all my foreign ancestory and relatives being counted as "foreign" experience!

There is no compassion in Hill’s heart.

Its all about an abstract belief in “fairness” which is the childish vision of Marxists/Maoists everywhere. It is really juvenile anger towards “the system” that motivates most of these people - and many never grow up.

This is why I hate the government and their redistribution mentality. No compassion, just the dogma of juvenile hatred.

Sorry, I had in-laws from New York visiting. Most far left women who attended Smith College. Their total reliance on dogma and failure to ever look at both sides in a discussion is amazing.

See now Bill always felt your pain. Or at least he claimed he did.
Ya know he is full of pooh though.
Just watch the film of the Ron Brown funeral.

just never forget Katrina....................

...Bill and Hill were in hourly talks w/ the guv giving advice all while W was waiting to be asked to help....

The Clinton’s delayed relief in hopes W would act and they would impeach him

then the dam broke flooding the busses and it became Chocolate Nagin’s fault

Her only asset is that she is Mrs. Clinton. if she ran as Mrs. Jones, she never would even be a Senator.

What a remarkable piece of investigative reporting, especially coming from The New York Times. It certainly exposes the phoniness of Hillary's claims of “experience.”

This is not going to go away. The Times is used by editors — both print and broadcast — to make news assignments. What that means is you can expect a slew of similar stories as other news organizations “match” the Times’ story.

You gotta love it!

I have watched the film. For both Clintons, it is always about how anything affects them and their hold on power. Every decision made by either of them is a direct result of their personal calculation as to how it helps or hurts them. Bill was just a better liar than Hillary and we have a higher standard of compassion for women than for men. And being a woman myself, I can tell you it scares me to meet a woman without compassion since it means that a very central part of her God-given nature has been destroyed.

Hillary Clinton did introduce “Hillary Care”, a Communist plan for the government takeover of all health care.

Her plan mandated jailing doctors for 5 years if they administered care outside of the plan, such as for private pay client.

Her plan mandated personal care requirements such as diet and excercise. (Imagine being woken at 5:00am for jumpingjacks!)

Her plan controlled who could and couldn’t attend medical school. She effectively took over all medical colleges as her plan also regulated their course content and admissions.

Her plan mandated the government be given full privilege to your medical records to know your every problem.

Her plan mandated complete regulation of hospitals such as to render all hospitals property of the federal government; the control was over their construction, administration, income, doctor pay, patient care, etc.

Hillary is a Communist! Where in the Constitution is there any allowance for Communism??
