To: Huck

I don’t think you really get anywhere with Republican voters by calling them stupid. It works with Democrats, but they like that whole abusive relationship thing.

I can understand Evangelical voters getting charged up by having one of their own on the ballot. They are not smoking my brand, but I understand. What I cannot understand is when they ignore every position and policy advocated by the candidate, and then are immune to simple observation when it is as plain as day that they are being shamelessly explointed.

There has to be a point where Identity Politics is no longer enough.

Lucky for me, I'm not in the snake oil bizness, so it's not my concern. An electorate that chooses Pat Robertson is measurably stupid. Their vote is objective evidence. And I think it's good to know, because it explains Huckabee. Same morons, different televangelist.
