Governor Huckabee isn’t liberal, but you make a good point about Congressman Hunter. I’ve spent quite a bit of time thinking about how things might break his way. He could obviously become the consensus nominee in a brokered convention, but short of that he’d probably need major gaffes by both Governor Huckabee and Governor Romney to trigger a January surge.
The thing to notice is how many Road-to-Des-Moines conversions there are in this race.
For example, on immigration. We need someone in the white house who isnt a johnny-come-lately on this issue.

Huckabee still remains liberal when it comes to immigration. His quote that he doesn’t know why it’s such a big deal to the american public is a sign that he’s simply out of touch.
