In 1994, when he ran for the U.S. Senate in Massachusetts, he said, "I was an independent during the time of Reagan-Bush. I'm not trying to return to Reagan-Bush."

Romney is his own man. He's not a Reagan clone. I don't see why you would take such offense at that.

Romney spent years in the state registered as "unenrolled," or unaffiliated with a political party,

He was not politically active before the early 1990's. He was focused on his career in the private equity business.

and in 1992 he voted for former Sen. Paul Tsongas, a liberal Democrat, in the Massachusetts Democratic presidential primary.

MA has an open primary system, so you can choose which primary you want to vote in. The GOP primary was uncontested that year, since G HW Bush was running for re-election. The Democratic primary was a more interesting contest, so he, like many other MA Republicans, voted in the the more intersting primary contest.

Romney replied: "Look, I was an independent during the time of Reagan-Bush. I'm not trying to return to Reagan-Bush. My positions don't talk about the things you suggest they talk about. This isn't a political issue."

Yeah, he's his own man. Apparently you would only be staisfied with a Reagan clone.

Romney has lied about being a hunter,

Nope. He only got a hunting liscence twice in his life, but he hunted small game in Utah many times with his son's gun where you don't need a liscence.

That he has lied about his not supporting the baby killers at Planned Parenthood,

His wife once sent them a check. He never did.

he even lied about his father marching with Martin Luther King, Jr.

He was a teenager at the time, and he remembers his Dad marching with him. Some historians say his Dad did march, others don't. At worst he's guilty of a faulty memory.

Why are you so concerned about the ability of a man to remember unimportant details about events that occurred when he was a teenager?

He led as Governor of Massachusetts as a center left executive yet now claims that he is a conservative.

False. I lived in MA at the time. He governed as a fiscal conservative, forcing a democratic legislature to cut spending by over 1.5 billion. On social issues, he did everything in his power to fight gay marraige. In my book, that is conservative.

In 1994, when he ran for the U.S. Senate in Massachusetts, he said, "I was an independent during the time of Reagan-Bush. I'm not trying to return to Reagan-Bush."

Yet, all these flip-flops, all these lies and his supporters stick their fingers in their ears and scream "LA LA LA" at the top of their voices.

Well, I've answered you point by point, and others have as well. This "flip-floper" label is not justified. When you look at it carefully, it becomes obvious that he really only changed his position on one issue: abortion. That's it. Period. On everything else, he's always been a solid conservative.

“MA has an open primary system, so you can choose which primary you want to vote in.”

No, you must register first, well before the primaries, to vote in the primary of whichever party. It’s not open at all, you must declare well in advance.

You can change after the primary, by re-registering, but that’s not usually done since the general election is open.

It’s not uncommon for people to re-register after the general election.
