Thanks to the illumination provided by rows of new, solar-powered
streetlights, vendors can continue to ply their wares and shoppers
can keep browsing the shops for hours after night has fallen.
And at the same time we burn terrorist-funding oil in the USA
to keep the lights on in malls in places like sunny California?
OK, it might still be cost-prohibitive...but if it plays in
Baghdad, why not The Promenade in Santa Monica?

I agree and can’t believe that we are spending U.S. taxpayer dollars to help one of the richest (energy) nations on Earth with their lighting problems!! All this while a U.S. grandma has to turn down her thermostat and eat catfood just to keep her house above freezing.
I’m so happy that little Akmed and Abdul (future America-Haters) can play soccer at night now at the Rabi Fish Market.
What a joke. We should be receiving free oil for all the sacrifices we have made for them. American the chumps, once again.
