My husband bought me once a leather jacket. Unfortunately it didn’t fit so I exchanged it to another jacket. It was not the same jacket he had bought me, but another one. They didn’t have my size. Lets say he got teedoff and didn’t understand that I couldn’t wear the other jacket

That’s sad...I was just upset because I truly thought he would love it and he didn’t.

Perhaps you did this. If not . . . how do you think he’d have responded?

“Dear Heart . . . it just doesn’t fit. I can

1) let it hang in the closet until it disintegrates

or

2) exchange it for something that fits and would be likely to get a great deal more use keeping me warm and reminding me of your caring and love in a warmly comforting way

or

3) give it to aunt Mildred who’s about that size and can never afford anything very nice.

Your choice.”
