Did he bring up the rumor that poinsettias “are poisonous”?

Ever since then, in subsequent years, management has not given any resident of the complex any poinsettia. A HOA is not a government per se, why would it have to follow this kind of rule? Why couldn't it just ask who wants poinsettias or not instead?

And you know what? I bet he thinks he “made the world a better place” through his petty little exercise in self-expression.

How ridiculous!
Hope you'll accept this highly sectarian, potentially offensive botanical tribute from me.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you, Silvie!

Or better yet, if he receives a poinsettia and does not want it because of religious factors — then just go ahead and give it to someone else - the gardener, your barber - someone else will enjoy and appreciate the gift.

Yep, when I found out that the family that controls 70% of the poinsettia market are big Planned Parenthood donors, I too decided to stop buying that plant as a gift. I give my clients candy instead.
To: Tribune7
Note to self — buy poinsettias from Guatemalan growers only.

Would I be offended if someone gave me a dradle as a gift even though I’m not Jewish? Of course not.

There is fairtrade coffee and dolphin safe tuna, we need to find fetus friendly Poinsettias.

Another spoiler getting his jollies by spoiling Christmas for others.

This year at school (public school) my son, who is in first grade, and all his fellow students made the Star of David from popscicle sticks, colored in deep blue with streaks of gold and attached a string to it. He brought it home and it is part of the ornaments decorating our Christmas tree. It is featured prominetly on the tree, right in front, and not out of view.
We’re bigtime Catholics and we enjoy all of our ornaments!
