Correct - I want to see him tax you a 23% inclusive rate on your final consumption ... just like the bill says. Overall you may pay less in taxes than you do now but the tax base will be expanded greatly and revenue hold steady.

One way or another congress will tax you - you can be sure of that as no government goes without taxing in some way. The question is - what is the best way overall and I believe the FairTax is that better way.
