TONY DUE TO BE ON O'REILLY!!
8-9PM Friday Jan4
Right on, my friend. There is something strange afoot that this fundamental info is being kept from the public. First by Republican incompetence, and then by ignorance, lack of courage, threats? Who knows? But, we paid millions as taxpayers for that report and we are entitled to know all of its findings.
[I am beyond upset at the way the Washington elite cover for one another. Shameful!!!]
He looks fantastic and did a great job analyzing Iowa.
Maybe he’ll take over O’Reilly’s radio show. hehehe
Tony is a distant memory...never to be heard in my home again.
That was a cute one, save While reading it, I kept trying to figure out the ending but you got me!LOL
Hey there retro and happy New Year. Any new stories about family get togethers during the holidays??? Hmmmm??? I’m in the mood to really LOL!
Hunh???! I never reneged on any demands to release the Barrett Report. I pushed as hard as I could, and encouraged people to pressure on the politicians chiefly responsible for its suppression. David Barrett himself had to obey the court orders — but for the record, I still would love to see the entire report released. I know of no one who pushed harder for full disclosure.
The Republicans on Capitol Hill blew the Barrett Report badly. Everyone else was just on the perimeter. Just another reason the Dems walked all over them.
I am watching your evil twin on BOR’s repeat as I type this. You look fanastic. “Retirement” suits you well. [Of course, that doesn’t count the weekly speeches, the books, the TV appearances, and the job search. Yep, other than that you have it made!]
Darlene went “Thud” on your 8PM appearance and may still be out cold. She thinks you look better now than before you got sick. Me, too.
You are finishing up on BOR and I am going to bed.
Goodnight, Tony.
Well, I ditched my MIL’s for Christmas. BUT...I do have one little story. My MIL is really weird about my Greek-ness. So, I sent DH over there with a plate of store bought baklava. }:-> (devilish smiley) He told them I made it! LOL He came up with this whole story about how my great-grandparents brought the recipe from Greece, passing it down through the generations and my mom had just passed it down to me this Christmas. Yeah, great-grandpa Trader Joe!
MIL said, “Really? She made this? It looks like what I see at Walt’s.” (Walt’s is a local grocery store) He stuck to it. “No, she made it. Her family only makes it at Christmas time. It took all day and made the house smell so good!” After that she and the rest of the family bought it.
Bravo Foxy! Many said it, but you said it best. We were in Ohio for Christmas and I missed dinasour’s ping—just picked it up! Had too much to catch up on around here.
BUT, I did catch Tony on Bill O’Reilly and was absolutely flabbergasted! Tony, whatever you have been doing—keep it up! Perhaps you could pass on your secret to looking fit, healthy, happy, rested—that’s just for starters! I’m sure other ladies on F/R who saw you said “Wow”!! Doesn’t our Snowman look terrific! It was surely a God Wink because I don’t often watch BOR.
We really, really, really need some Snowflake t-shirts!
Yes, that is a good resolution. I make it yearly [among others], but I normally last a tad longer before I break it. 8) I must have had a bit too much egg nog [spiked?] before I jumped in and made some negative comments about one of our posters.
FRee Republic is composed of many diverse people and we not only disagree on policy but also on what is and what is not civil. I am spoiled by hanging out mostly on Tony Snow Threads. Other FReep threads are often more rough and tumble.
Tony is also a very good and gracious person, liked by just about everyone who knows him. For that reason, I am taken aback when he is criticized. Yet, I, too, disagree with some of his views and have to accept others do as well, and perhaps in a less gentle way!
That said, I think you will be a very good addition to the SnowFlake family, Greg.
"Happy New Year".
We sure do need your take on how things are going for
the Republican party in this election. It’s very crazy
to think that we might have to vote for McCain if we
keep true to the party.
Scary!
