He shot strangers who had robbed a neighbors house, not his, and strangers who did not step foot on his property. Yep. And the question is, is that legal in Texas or not? So far it seems that the answer is yes, what Mr. Horn did is legal in Texas.

He shot strangers who had robbed a neighbors house, not his, and strangers who did not step foot on his property. The latest reports indicate the first one was only about 10 feet from Mr. Horn when he was hit. Eyewitness accounts put both on his oroperty when he exited his house.
His house, his neighbor's house, matters little, and not at all as things played out.
