When Wilson returned from Pakistan, Joanne Herring announced that everything was in place to give President Zia a reception he world never forget. At vast expense she had the main dining hall of the Houstonian Hotel turned into an exotic vision of a Pakistani palace. The heads of all the major oil companies had accepted, along with a surprising number of other CEO's from the Fortune 500.
