One other thing that seems to have been forgoten - the earth is essentially a closed system. All that carbon is already here. It isn’t anything new, it isn’t anything being added to the system. It is released into the atmosphere and then reabsorbed by the earth as it always has. Just part of the cycle.
DING DING DING!!!!! We have a WINNNNAAAAHHHHH!!!!!! Same thing goes for the hydro carbons we retrieve from the ground. all of that raw material HAS ALWAYS BEEN HERE!!! all we are doing is extracting it, refining it, combusting it back down into its component parts to be reabsorbed, and re formed into hydrocarbons...Oil is the most prefect renewable resource out there. The sheer volume and number of systems at work behind the scenes on this lovely planet the Lord gave us to SUBDUE and make our own is incredible. Im just sayin....
