When you assign blame, be sure it comes down on the right head. Souter was the responsibility of old man Sununu, who was chief of staff for Bush 41 for a time. His son, the current Senator Sununu, was a kid working on his M.B.A. at the time.

I have no use for the old man, who came off as a total clymer the one time I was unfortunate to meet him. His son, on the other hand, is a very likeable, down to earth guy. I look forward to volunteering again for his reelection campaign against Jeanne "Betty Crocker" Shaheen.
