LOL.
If I was looking for a Republican to blame, I’d blame Mitt Romney. He benefits most.
Then again Dr. Paul might just be wilier than any of us ever imagined.Actually I'll just blame Clinton Inc. for this because they know McC could beat them.
Thought you’d get a kick out of that!
“If I was looking for a Republican to blame, Id blame Mitt Romney. He benefits most.”
Not necessarily.
I don’t think that Mr. McCain’s candidacy is long for this world, with or without this alleged scandal. If Sen. McCain came in second in New Hampshire, and then tended to fade after that, then he would have the effect of blocking out other candidates who might benefit from coming in second there, and who might last longer in the campaign. Thus, one could see a second-place finish by Sen. McCain as being to Mr. Romney’s benefit.

Actually, I think that several of the top-tier Republicans could beat Mrs. Clinton. If Mr. Obama or some other Democrat doesn’t beat her first.
Of the top candidates, I think that only Mr. Giuliani would likely lose to Mrs. Clinton.

You are absolutely right. McCain was starting to surge in NH. Mitt was in danger of loosing both Iowa and NH in a row. The timing of this was perfect to maximize the damage before the primaries without giving McCain time to recover. This whole thing stinks of Mitt.
