LEDs are less than 5 watts usually. They are far more efficent than CFLs.

I have been reading up on the research and development of LED's = and hoping they get them perfected and on the market before the powers that be in Washington shuts them down - like they have so many other beneficial products from sources that, evidently, forgot to stop and grease palms and pockets along the way.
The got rid of the Tucker Torpedo - light years ahead of the "Big Five" - because of this... and many of Tucker's innovations were delayed before being stolen by the Big Five...many innovations which are still standard in our vehicles today.
