he magnanimously refrained from using her sexually,

Not quite; he just refrained from intercourse with her..

In the interim, he regularly praciticed "thighing" with her, something Muslims still commonly & routinely practice today (though some few Muzzie religious authorities condemn it) with young children of either sex.

In MadMo's case, however, those who condemn it still excuse him on the grounds that, 'he, as "The Prophet", was devinely granted super-human control, so never climaxed nor recieved gratification from the act'!!

The ones who do condemn it are distinctly a minority, as the rest outright endorse the practice.

I don't feel it appropriate to more closely describe what it is on the forum. Either look it up in Google, or as a last resort, ask privately.

If he’s 40, then I should pass for 30!

Tell me again the point of this UNICEF (pro-abort) prize?

I’d never heard of muslim thighing before, so I did a Google search - and almost wish that I had not. The first hit, from IslamWatch, addressed not only this practice, but also the muslim religious perspective on bestiality and homosexuality. If you have a weak stomach, don’t do this yourself; those with stronger constitutions, though, might find powerful ammunition in discussions with those who think moslems are just another respectable religion (surely there are few on FR who suffer from that delusion).

A hot shower, followed by some uplifting Scripture helps remove that slimed feeling.

I really wish more people knew or acknowledged such horrors. It makes the hijab/burka issue, or the wife-beating issues fade far into the background, and exposes Islam for what it really is.

End times alert. Poor little girl.

I recently saw the movie “Water” about a little Indian girl, abused by the Hindu way of life. It is really sad and makes you wonder what the heck is going on in this upside down world of ours.

Who, exactly, has he allowed to fall on their rear? Besides himself?

Yet, history cannot be rewritten to avoid confronting the facts that Muhammad had unnatural desires for little girls.

OTOH, marriages with adolescents was common back then in many societies. Even several hundred years later marriageable age was still in the early-mid teens. And girls from rich families were far more likely to be married earlier since the marriages would be an arrangement between rich and/or powerful families (like Aisha's marriage). Romeo & Juliet were married in their early teens, and I don't think anybody complained about the ages in the story. Even today, Gypsies are known to arrange pre-teen marriages, but they tend to run afoul of the authorities of their country.

Basically, Mohammed's marriage was socially acceptable at the time, which is the reason for my "1000 years ago" comment. These people need to come into, if not this century, at least go for the 1700s. Is that too much to ask?

Many practices of early culture are detestable to us, but at least most of them remained in early culture. That this still happens today is sickening. My first thought on seeing that photo was that the photographer should have been holding a gun instead of a camera, to shoot that bastard in the crotch.

A picture of a boy lifting bricks on his head in Bangladesh, showing the life of one of the millions exploited as child labour, came second.

I guess UNICEF would prefer that he stand on principle and starve.
