But as a Republican (allegedly) Ron Paul has an obligation to maintain higher standards. Stormfront is disgusting and Paul should distance himself from the organization and denounce it.

I hate Ron Paul's policies, his joking pandering to the 'libertarian' movement, the empty rhetoric of another empty seat congresscritter who will be living on my dime for the rest of his life because eventually he'll lose an election and 'retire' from civil service. His anti-federalist viewpoint is as deep as Hillary's feelings on anything.

However, if he doesn't have to give back the money from outright liberals who want the state to determine our every waking moment, the thought police that state it's just fine for a group to advocate taking a portion of this country and calling it Mexico, open border supporters, etc who actually do real harm to our country, then I have no clue why he should bother distancing himself from someone openly mocked on a conservative forum.

Honestly, making issues out of this kind of empty issue simply gives the donator and his cause more attention than he's had in years.

I sometimes wonder whether some of these freepers who post obsessively non-stop (including on Friday and Saturday nights when most people actually have lives) about Paul are actually supporters trying to make his detractors look dumb.

For what it's worth, Ron Paul has refused to participate in the congressional pension system and has denounced it as an unwarranted perk.

I don't think Ron Paul should give money to neo-Nazis. What's this doing in Breaking News?

Michael Moore pulled one of these stunts for one of his books. I think he formed a group called "Satanists for Buchanan" and then blabbered on self-righteously that their donation was never returned.
