It’s hard to imagine, since he’d had some run ins before we met. but ...i believe in rehabilitative alimony. If I had money and he had stayed home with the kids, I say yeah, I’d give it to him.

I don't believe in it at all. I respect your opinion, but there comes a time when adults must take responsibility for the choices that they make, right or wrong, and live with them every day.
