Well, for the Democrat primaries marital infidelity is a resume enhancer—although a same-sex affair would be even more popular with the Party faithful. And if she aborts the baby, Democrat support and sympathy will be universal: they like abortion even more than deviancy.
It might be more of a problem in the general election. But much less than it would have 20 years ago: the Clinton years deadened our sensibilities to such things and the MSM will parrot the Clinton Line that “it’s private” and “everybody does it.”

I don’t think I believe this. Edwards is an empty suit, but he is not stupid. While running for the presidency and knowing that everything is being watched by the Clinton slime team, having an affair with this woman would be incredibly stupid.
