Thanks for your post....the whole time I’m reading this, I’m thinking “am I the only one on here who is just plain saddened for his wife?”That poor woman, to begin with, how sad it must be to have access to all that wealth, and not be able to stop the progression of her cancer? Then, she goes with her husband to help him get elected..that surely hasn’t been easy for her, with her health problems...and then to find out how he’s betrayed her...I just can’t imagine...if this is indeed true, how she will be able to cope with it, on top of everything else...but she is courageous, I’ll give her that.

Maybe in the scheme of things, if one is facing ones’ own mortality,it puts everything else in perspective...my own thoughts..how could he do this to her? Shame on him...he should have put his desire to run for President on the back burner and stayed home with his wife and kids instead of dragging them all over the country. If that wasn't enough, he has to go and have an affair with another woman and get her pregnant...there must be a word to describe those despicable actions, but I can't think of it, probably shouldn't print it here if I could.

If it’s true, he will pay. When you harm another with this kind of betrayal, you destroy parts of them and your children that can never be fixed. He would have to watch and live with that the rest of his life. Let’s hope it is just a Hillary deal.

I’m no Edwards fan and as a Born-again Christian, I do NOT condone adultery. But, don’t rush to judgment on this. It sounds like you’ve already convicted him. This could very well be a scheme of the Clinton Campaign. They will stop at nothing to get back in the White House.

Mrs. Edwards has known for years that her husband supports partial/post-birth abortion of innocent children. That is, of course, far more evil than adultery. She certainly has no right to be surprised at anything he does.

I say this in a good way: Elizabeth Edwards is delusional. Thats probably best for her. She can fix her mind on fighting with Anne Coulter rather than her cancer and the likelihood her children will grow up without her. I don’t even expect this will have an effect on her.

If she didn’t have the presidential campaign to fix her mind on, there would be something else to fix her mind on, of course, because psychologically thats how she would deal with it. There were better choices, IMO, and John Edwards, in my opinion, has always looked bad for continuing with his presidential ambitions. He’s got a commercial that says, “in the quiet of a hospital room, Elizabeth and I decided after 12 hours of tests and very bad news . . . “ What the hell was he doing putting her on the spot for a decision about his presidential campaign in a hospital room after 12 hours of tests and bad news?
