OK: Kindergarten English is now in session:

YOU suggested that some FReepers might grow on you.

I replied that cancer can grow on people as well and not beneficially.

Libertoonianism is a cancer that can grow on otherwise sensible people (OK, I am making a leap of faith, pardon the expression, as to you). Likewise anti-Catholicism (and in your case apparently some sort of resentment of your parents and of their Catholicism) is a cancer that can grow on you.

If you find Dr. Demento supportable, that is a cancer, whether you think so or not. You are new here. Maybe someone can show you JimRob's previous statement on paleoPaulie. You don't have to agree with him and his statement but sensible people will.

Whether or not you are a patriot is entirely your business. My perception of whether you are a patriot is my business too.

If you support El Run Paulie and yet call yourself conservative, those who ARE conservative have a right to defend the good name of conservatism consistent with house rules.

Whether or not you are a Catholic is even more your absolute business but, if you attack my Church, you also make that attack my business consistent with house rules.

I am pinging Jim Robinson NOT because I want you sanctioned (I don't. It would be a boring world in which everyone agreed on everything)but solely because I lack many computer skills including those necessary to bring up and include his statement on Paul.

You, IED, seem easily confused.

So, what is IED? Wikipedia and AcronymFinder were of no apparent help.

And why are you so openly hostile against Ron Paul? You call him names like Dr. Demento, paleoPaulie, and El Run Paulie and it seems quite childish, to say the least. Can’t you simply call him by his actual name? And “libertoonianism”... cute. Can’t you please be respectful enough to call them by their actual names?

Oh, and this isn’t pathetically patronizing at all (/sarcasm): “OK: Kindergarten English is now in session:”.

I didn’t call myself conservative, but I do believe that RP’s simple statements about the humble beginnings of the republican party. I understand that when the world changes, it causes countries and people to change, but you must also understand that people have always felt like “How can it possibly get much worse!” I mean, the Christians in the years directly following Jesus’ death thought Christ was coming right away. What people don’t seem to want to understand is that the human condition has never changed. We’ve always been a “flawed”. Also, people like to think that homosexuality is a new fad, but it’s been around for millenia.
