Ron Paul didn't say he was, either. Paul thinks we should be cautious when someone says they are God's candidate, because it makes it easier for politicians to get their agenda put into law, regardless of whether that agenda should be law. I agree.

Then he should have said that, though I haven't seen Huckabee claim to be God's candidate. Words have meanings, and in the real world fascism implies authoritarian control and persecution.

He said the reason he is surging is because God is answering the prayers of his supporters. That’s saying that he’s God’s candidate of choice, unless God is a practical joker.
