Fascism or any totalitarian regime has always been based on a monopoloy of state power, not a rebellion against state power. Look at Hitler, Mussolini or Lenin, each with its received spiritual orthodoxy, each wrapped in the flag of the motherland.

Like Italy, and Germany? One rightist, and the other leftist, but both using the same control (fasces) techniques.
