Hillary’s Dean Moment – Not the Scream, But Building…
National Review Online ^ | 17 December 2007 | Jim Geraghty

Posted on 12/17/2007 5:09:24 PM PST by COBOL2Java

Sometimes we forget that before Howard Dean’s infamous “YEARRRGH!” moment, there were a bunch of signs that he was hitting the skids beforehand. First there were a couple of brusque debate moments – I remember Peggy Noonan comparing him to a teapot that looked ready to boil over. But the other big warning sign came when a guy at an Iowa town hall meeting asked for less negative campaigning and a Biblical teaching of “love thy neighbor”, and Dean gruffly snapped to a “George Bush is not my neighbor.” When the questioner interrupted Dean, he shouted, “You sit down! You had your say, and now I'm going to have my say."

It wasn’t “Iowa friendly.”

It wasn’t a total meltdown, but Hillary Clinton’s interview with NBC’s David Gregory this morning might be another one of those red-flag moments. The guys at NewsBusters have a transcript and video highlights.

I understand Hillary's urge to emphasize the Des Moines Register endorsement, but she returns to it robotically, and just refuses to acknowledge Gregory’s question about recent lines of attack on Obama.

I guess the reaction to this exchange will come down to whether you think it's legitimate to ask Hillary about her husband saying that electing Obama is a “crapshoot.” Gregory tries to get some specifics, on what makes Obama so risky, and she just keeps ignoring it, and saying “You get change through hard work.” There’s quite a bit of crosstalk, and after the fourth or fifth invoking of the endorsement, if it were in person, one wonders if she would whack Gregory with a rolled up Des Moines Register newspaper, and say, “Read it! Read it!”

I suspect that mext year, if Hillary’s president, David Gregory is going to be the first taxpayer to get daily audits.

Of course I would never insinuate that Obama was a drug peddler, dealer or running or anything like that. I would never stoop so low. I leave it up to my campaign staff to deal with my enemies. Fret naught, all will bow to me as I am the Fairest of them All.

/Sarcasm OFF

Hole in the Dyke warning. The pictures below may cause nausea and other GI upsets.

Afterwards, Big Brown delivers the Sad Hill in her big brown and ugly pant suit to light up a meeting for her in Gilford, NH!">

Then the Hill lights up the Gilford, NH Meeting with her charm and energy!

Hopefully the scenes below will happen early next year.

Not to worry, I just smashed my new 50” LCD.

Thanks for the warning!/s/

I will need a Hillary filter for the TV if she gets elected. I was depressed for eight years of Bubba’s reign.
I could not believe enough stupid Americans voted for him the second time. That is what scares me about 2008.

Himself.

Maybe but when the Clinton's are pressured by NBC you have to consider that this goes way beyond Gregory. This was a Today team effort. I'd also like to know why Mr Softball Matt Lauer was missing in action. I'm pretty sure Bill and Hill were asking the same question about Matt's whereabouts after the interview.

I have said essentially those same words a number of times. The fact that these two are not in prison is an indicator of just how much is wrong with this country.

That was an answer to post 64: You seemed to be allotting the festering clintonian infection additional chances at causing another case of gangrene in our Nation.

Therefore, I was offering commentary--as I am wont to do.

No.

I do not.

Even though some think that this is overreacting, I believe that this woman is the female Hitler.

She thoroughly frightens me.

Hitler was a piker compared to what that woman is capable of doing.

LOL!

Hey, why am I laughing??? She's making us the butt of that joke.

I watched a History Channel thingie about Hitler's family today. Throughout, I kept thinking how much it paralleled the lives of those vile clintons--including all three of them re-writing their own youthful histories and family trees (with Hitler's grandma Schekelgruber selecting her illigitimate son's "father" from her past after the fellow was long-dead--which is what billyblythe's mother went and did. Clintons also concocted a story about Virginia and Mr. Blythe getting "married" before he died--even though the guy was already married. Ah...quality folks, them!).

It also occurred to me that there is a good side to this hillary nightmare: She's forcing billy's "legacy" to be inspected. I believe that this inspection has forced history to publish a more accurate rendition of billy's legacy than it might have done without her attempt at clinton, II.

If ol' billy thinks about this, he might go and have hillary whacked!

(awwww.....)

It's either laugh or cry.

Nope. Hillary!™ is going to have him whacked just before the election so she can get the sympathy vote as 'the widder clinton'...
