My mother is 74 and Hillary looks older than she does.
All right, get out your flame-throwers, but I actually admire her for growing old gracefully in today’s society. And I think this pic is going to do for her what Cary Grant’s shove in the face did for the failing career of the until-then-unloveable Katherine Hepburn. Strange analogy, I know, but I think the pic has the same humanizing effect.
I was just thinking the same thing. She looks a little like an aunt of mine, who has since passed away, but she was nearly 90 and her complexion looked like that.
She’s got that Arlen Specter grin going on.
It's not the years, it's the mileage.
Now try imagining that without makeup.
So THAT’S what gravitas looks like!
“Man! She’s only 60?”
Man! She’s a Man!
One quart low on the Botox.
The Botox had been keeping her looking ok. There is a doctor out there that will pay for this.
And what of Hillary’s handlers? How in the world did they let her be photographed like this?
Someone screwed up big time.
First off, she is outside, in natural light (the harshest, right up there w/flourescent lighting). It is definitely cold dry air, the scarf is pushing up her jawline up, and I would guess Hillary is somewhat dehydrated (air travel also reeks havoc w/the skin). What normally would be minimal wrinkling just looks much worse. She appears to have not worshiped the sun in her youth...so she does have a nice complexion, and for 60 she looks good. She does.
That said, is this photo for sympathy? Maybe...but I hate commentary on Mrs. Clinton's appearance (or Helen Thomas' for that matter). People age (most can't help that, and those that do usually wind up looking silly). Its the message and positions that Hillary takes that she should be called out on...not her crow's feet. Rush should know better.
