Well, I’d advise you to pray for him. We need to be praying for all pastors. Running a church is a tireless and endless job, thankless as well.

It really isn't the pastor's job to run the church is it? At least by Biblical directions anyway. The pastor is supposed to spend his time in study and teaching. The Elders and board should do the work of management. IMO that is what is wrong with megachurches without denomination. The pastor takes over running the church and suddenly his ego takes over. Then the Elders and board become reluctant to disagree with anything he wants.

But I agree we should all be praying for all our churches.

The pastor is still the one over the board, etc. He has to work with them in all areas of church life. He has to know what’s going on at all times.

I like nondenominational churches. Most of them are still under others, though. We’re nondenominational but we’re affiliated with Elim churches and work with them. We’re a small church, not a mega-church, although it was once prophesied that some day we would have 3,000 members. I like the smaller churches. You get to know people and can minister more effectively to them. Mega churches do have home groups and effective pastoral ministries that smaller churches don’t have. God has all kinds of folks in His body.
