A good friend of mine attends NLC.I have met Ted Haggard on more than one occasion.
My discernment was that Ted was a very smooth throughly self absorbed Huckster.
I hope that you prayed for him. It’s easy for all of us to judge pastors who fall, but in reality, we should be praying for them. I feel God exposed him for what he was doing because we can’t get away with that stuff for long, but my hope is that he will be restored to fellowship, if not the pastorate, and will repent and turn away from his sin (like all the rest of us have or need to do).
