Has Hillary Clinton's candidacy for the Democrats' nomination gone from "inevitable" to "doomed" in the space of a few weeks? Momentum always is a precious factor as the compressed primary season looms, with undecideds making up their minds and contributors wanting to back the likely winner
But special circumstances surround the junior senator from New York. For years she has exercised what seem like special powers, as well-entrenched Clinton allies in the press and a political machine unmatched in resources and ruthlessness served to support her version of the narrative in major conflicts with her enemies. Generous use of victim status also has always been a winner for her in then past.
Think of the treatment poor Rick Lazio received when he "violated her space" during a debate in her run for the Senate. I have never, before or since, heard of another candidate using the concept of personal space to target and demonize an opponent. But with Hillary's superpowers, such narratives could be made to stick, at least among those members of the voting public who don't expose themselves to much beyond the New York Times/CBSNBCABCCNN media bubble.
But the old tactics she has used with success no longer work against Barack Obama. Hillary's superpowers have met their version of kryptonite.
Obama is a seemingly nice guy, inspiring to some with his rhetoric of change and hope. And of course he is black. She can't really out-victim him. To switch metaphors, his victim card is a King, while hers is only a Queen. And being a sympathetic character to many, attacks on him, such as the accusation of little Barry being a kindergartener consumed with ambition to be president, have a way of backfiring on her.

Wow. Great analogy.
After the fact that the Clinton path to the White House was littered with over 100 dead bodies didn’t stop them then, mayb a bunch more people have to die before she wins the nomination.
Of course, Kathleen Kennedy Townsend’s big mistake was not reminding voters who her godfather was—Sen. Joe McCarthy.
Well, one interesting insight there. It's certainly part of the historical record that bill clinton can sell himself no matter what he does, but he never seems to be able to sell anyone else.
I think the basic reason for that is that he is a charismatic sociopath, or psychopath if you prefer. He is in love with himself, he positively glows with it, and he persuades others. But he just isn't in love with anyone else, and that shows, too. His love for himself is basic, but his admiration for anyone else is totally faked.
Not to mention, Bill ClinToon has had the midas touch in reverse the last few years when trying to help individual dRAT candidates.

One may think that if one discards the deviousness of the clinton/msm lust for power.
Between clinton and obama they have pulled in all the cash and supporters available for any campaigner in the democrat party.
When the “Come Back Woman” finally decimates all contenters she is going to pick obama as her running mate, they will have it all, all the money, all the supporters and all the ‘moderates’. They won’t have just the normal 98% of the black vote, they will have 110%.
every time her campaign mentions his kindergarten ambitions we should post the picture of bill clinton shaking hands with JFK in D.C.
..”you wouldn’t know it from her panicked reaction to the prospect of looming defeat that this is the same woman who has assured us she is ready to handle the most important job in America.”...
Actually, it has been the so-called MSM that has told Americans for 15 years that this pathetic woman is the “smartest woman in the world” and generally has shoved the Clintons down our throats. Now, the charade is finally being exposed as voters see just what it is they bargained with Satan for in the mid-1990s. It ain’t pretty, folks.
