The federal government involvement in education does not help, but the sorry music spewed out by the private sector is a greater contributor to American decadence and moral weakness than anything coming out of Washington.
I bet Isaac Newton would not have amounted to much had he spent his adolescence listening to rock “music” and playing Harpsichord Hero.

A game cost over $9.000 . IMHO he was stupid to have bought it in the first place.

Ha! This past summer, I smashed my teenage sons Guitar Hero after some serious offense which I can’t recall. (too many lately) He then ran away from home for three days until mom promised to replace it.

Maybe it’s the way he marketed it....
Like other things (The divorced guy selling and modeling his ex-wife’s wedding dress,”Prozac Barbie”, etc) many things have sold for lots more just because the story was so funny!

Hey, maybe if I blow a few doobies, my mom could sell my old Candy Land and Chutes & Ladders games for a few $thousand.

I wish I could make $9,000 and discipline my kid at the same time. The man is a parenting genius.

Did you douse the “guitar controller” with lighter fluid and set it on fire, a la Jimi Hendrix at Monterey?

I agree but I have to say also that I’m sick of this Guitar Hero / Rockstar video games, these dumb phony drums and the mock guitars and basses. Why not teach kids, if they’re interested in music to actually learn how to play an instrument? There’s nothing like learning to actually tune an instrument, learning the chords to where your fingers hurt from pressing down the strings, learning music theory and scales then improvising leads.

Pressing 4-5 buttons is easier than frets when your high and still living with dad when you are 27 years old.

Oh I don't know...
Yesterday my family was eating at a local fast food that has special deep fried cream corn nuggets.
My daughter held one up and said it was perfectly shaped like the United States.
I told her she should put it on eBay :)
People buy anything and for any price on eBay.
