A. Eve "fell fro it, not Adam" B. Satan told Eve (Genesis 3:4-5)Nice example, too bad it is 100% backwards.4 And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:C. Later in that same Chapter, God says... ()
5 For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.22 ¶ And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever:D. So Satan says You shall be as the Gods knowing Good from Evil, and later God says Man has become as one of us knowing Good from Evil, ergo, Satan told ........ The Truth! (The really frustrating thing is Satan cannot even be relied upon to reliably lie, he'll tell the truth in order to get you to trust him enough to believe a lie, and in this case, God says he told the truth.)
Well, regardless of how I structure my reply, or who I should have referred to, the fact still remains that Mormons DO believe that God was once a man, who evolved to become our God, and Mormos will likewise evolve from being men to being Gods who are worshipped and prayed to.
That belief means that Mormons and Christianity are the opposite from each other.
