Russia's Armed Forces have reinstituted the Jewish chaplaincy for the first time since the 1917 Bolshevik Revolution. Its a huge challenge to bring back
yiddishkeit and Jewish identity to Jewish soldiers in Russia's Armed Forces. So this is a first good step towards realizing that objective.
