Historically Christians sacrificed lambs too. Uh, no. Animal sacdifice is not part of the Christian faith.

God asked Abraham to sacrifice his son Isaac to test his faith, so he tied him to the alter but an angel stopped him before he did anything. Afterwards, he found a ram caught in the bushes to sacrifice instead.
That’s what I was referring to.
