Timmy starts the Romney interview with religion. Next question is about religion. Third item is about religion. Fourth question is about religion.
As Russert attempts to paint the Romney campaign as a religious zealot, Romney strikes back by saying he isn't running as "Pastor In Chief." Romney is comfortable and clear in his responses.

I really think it’s time these people knock it off with Mitt’s faith. Hey, I’ve got opinions on this Latter Day Church thing but this constant hammering on Romney’s religion is only making me feel more protective of the guy.
He’s done nothing to stick his religion down our throats and he doesn’t deserve this constant scrutinizing and grilling no more than Huck, Rudy et al...do about THEIR faith.
It’s getting just plain rude and mean.

HI Nautinurse, I am reading Douglas Brinkley's The Great Deluge, and preparing my review for Amazon. What a partisan hack he is. I am using your live threads for reference. They are a treasure. I bet Brinkley has never even heard of them, much less looked at them.
